Ahh, my glitter-addict-disorder is back after so many months. Its been awhile since I last did glitter nail design, and I missed having glitters all over the place. >.< Flowers are not my thingy and I'm not good at drawing flowers. =/ (still practicing =D)

I know I've been MIA lately but I did a few manicures, I just didn't have time to sort them out. I pick up Claire's Bright Skies last week and its officially on my fav list. =) For once I didn't regret paying 5 dollars for Claire's nail polish because I believe they should worth less than that. Maybe 2 dollars. The formula is similar to China Glaze Fairy Dust but in blue. And since Color Club Factory Girl alone does not look good on my nails, i did a gradient using Bright Skies and a layer of Fairy Dust.

As usual, the photo doesn't do them justice. =( *disappointed*

Valentine's day nail art #5

School has been busy and all i could do is take some time after dinner to do some nail art. That limits to 2-3 nail art per week eventhough my hands are icthy to touch and paint some nails. (sounds very weird >.<) Any how, since valentine's day is near and i wanted to at least do 10 to 15 different designs. This is a very simple design, takes about 20mins and you're done!! Roses are water decal =D

I would be away for the weekend so there won't be a Konad VS Free-hand this week unfortunately. =( But i would like to know what kind of konad design would you like me to challenge. =)

Requested: Greek nail art tutorial

How was everyone's new year celebration? My new year resolution this year is to be able to improve my nail art especially acrylic nails and of course increase my nail polish collection too!! I would start my first post in 2011 with a tutorial for the greek nail art and since I've never done a tutorial before, comments are welcome so i could improve and do a better job next time. =D

My sister gave me a Micheals gift card for christmas because she knows i wanted the martha stewarts glitters set for the longest time. And yes, after drooling for so many months i finally got 2 sets and that was one of the best christmas present of the year!!! I also bought a few fimo sticks on ebay a few months ago but never get to use them.

The glitters are so fine and pretty and i cant wait to do more nails with it! How was everyone's christmas??

Merry Christmas!!!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful christmas this year! For me, all i did was stay home and did some nail arts.

I dont own a konad stamp set because i think its abit too expensive and i cant afford it(I'm a poor student =( ) and i saw a very pretty konad stamp butterfly nail design the other day. So i decided to hand paint some butterflies. Picture below is the evolution of handpainted butterfly.

Hand painted lace with pink background (OPI Princesses Rule and OPI Bring on the bling). The photo doen't do them justice but i swear they look really pretty in real life.

I'm looking forward tomorrow since its BOXING DAY SALES!!!

Nails of the day

I went to Walmart the other day for christmas shopping and saw a pink flower sticker with lots of glitters on. They were selling it for 7 dollars and i think its kinda overprice so i decided to do it myself. It took awhile to make this but the end results makes the effort worth it. At least for me. =D

Yay!! Christmas is only 3 days away, how exciting! Too bad there wont be any white christmas this year in Vancouver, but its all good as long as we get to spend time with family and friends (and pets too!!)

Nails of the day

Wee, went to Wal Mart and got this big bottle of gold glitters today. Apparently this was the last bottle left and i wanted it so badly!!! >.< It was a big mess using that glitter for any kind art craft, i had the glitter everywhere even on my cat. It makes her look like a gold digger. I created this nail design by using the glitter and OPI Only God for Me. I think this is my most favourite nail polish ever. Its so pretty as a top coat on any color.



And i used some crushed shell to create the rock candy nail.

I finally got the acrylic nail mold today after 4 weeks. It didnt work as well as i thought it would be. The problem with it is that the sizes are too small. #1 mold is like the size of #2 or #3. But it came with a nice little box though.



Its almost weekend!! I still have a final exam on sunday and next tuesday, and ill be done!!!
