Show my country nail art

I'm back from intense exam period and weekend fieldtrip, can't wait to do more nails over the reading break next week too!!

Parokeets had the "Show us your country" theme nail art a few weeks ago but I didn't have much time to do a nail art that represent my country. Alot of people are not familiar with my country, basically when you look at the world map and find the potato shape-like country- That's Malaysia!

This is my country, Malaysia. Inspired by the flag,

the well-known Petronas Twin-tower,

and the national flower, red brilliant hibiscus.

Of course there are alot more than represent this country, but these are just a few significant ones.
Have anyone been to Malaysia before or heard of this country?

Challenge.

Thank you for all the lovely comments!!! I guess i would try doing nail art on my own nails from now on then. I would still do it on fake nails for more challenging design but would cut it shorter instead of long nails.

While doing these nails, I came up with an idea, a silly one. Since i still don't own a konad stamp, why don't I do a Konad VS free-hand nail art design challenge. Every week, i would replicate a konad design by doing it free-hand. The results would decide by all you lovely bloggers. What do you think of this idea?

Eventhough these took me awhile (like 2 hours) to finish, but I am really satisfied with the end result.

I can't believe i actually spent 2 hours on this set of nails. Although it's not the best but i had fun doing it. I used acrylic to make the flowers but the end results wasn't as good as what i expected. It was more of a pale white color so i ended up painting the flower using white polish.

I personally think this would actually look better on a medium or short nails instead of long nails.

My sister gave me a Micheals gift card for christmas because she knows i wanted the martha stewarts glitters set for the longest time. And yes, after drooling for so many months i finally got 2 sets and that was one of the best christmas present of the year!!! I also bought a few fimo sticks on ebay a few months ago but never get to use them.

The glitters are so fine and pretty and i cant wait to do more nails with it! How was everyone's christmas??

I went to Walmart the other day for christmas shopping and saw a pink flower sticker with lots of glitters on. They were selling it for 7 dollars and i think its kinda overprice so i decided to do it myself. It took awhile to make this but the end results makes the effort worth it. At least for me. =D

Yay!! Christmas is only 3 days away, how exciting! Too bad there wont be any white christmas this year in Vancouver, but its all good as long as we get to spend time with family and friends (and pets too!!)

Nails of day

Well since finals are over and i have 3 weeks break before new semester starts again, i have plenty of time to do nails. It was raining today and i had no where else to go, i did 4 sets of nail design in the afternoon. Before realizing it, it was already 12.00a.m!!! Time flies when you're having fun!! =)





I probably will be doing more nails design for the next 3 weeks(Since i have no life, LOL) and I hope you like it!!!
