Konad VS Free-hand #2

Yay for the weekly konad VS free-hand challenge #2. And I picked......

Another amazing design from Art of Nail, thank you for letting me use your photos!! (Post) I fell in love with this design when i first saw it on her blog, she did a really good job on layering the design.

And my free-hand version of it......

Butterflies are definitely not my specialty. Took me quite awhile to draw them and clearly my drawing skill need some improvement. I didn't know my branches were so thick until i uploaded the photos. =(

But overall, this was quite a challenge!! What do you think?

Nails of the day

My sister gave me a Micheals gift card for christmas because she knows i wanted the martha stewarts glitters set for the longest time. And yes, after drooling for so many months i finally got 2 sets and that was one of the best christmas present of the year!!! I also bought a few fimo sticks on ebay a few months ago but never get to use them.

The glitters are so fine and pretty and i cant wait to do more nails with it! How was everyone's christmas??

Merry Christmas!!!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful christmas this year! For me, all i did was stay home and did some nail arts.

I dont own a konad stamp set because i think its abit too expensive and i cant afford it(I'm a poor student =( ) and i saw a very pretty konad stamp butterfly nail design the other day. So i decided to hand paint some butterflies. Picture below is the evolution of handpainted butterfly.

Hand painted lace with pink background (OPI Princesses Rule and OPI Bring on the bling). The photo doen't do them justice but i swear they look really pretty in real life.

I'm looking forward tomorrow since its BOXING DAY SALES!!!
